The total number of confirmed cases, as of 4 November 2020 stood at 48,101,561 cases. Deaths numbered 1,223,937 for a Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of 2.7 percent. Covered in this report are 216 infected countries and 180 Local Transmission Countries. In addition the total new cases the day was 258,720 and the total new deaths around the globe reached 4,203.
